The Time Tunnellers began as a way for authors of historical fiction for children to get together and support one another. It has since grown into a website and YouTube channel for teachers and librarians, where they can find videos on a wide range of historical topics from popular children’s authors as well as free learning resources.

At the Time Tunnellers, our mission is to promote a love of history and a love of reading by providing engaging learning resources to teachers, librarians and educators. We do this by engaging with popular authors of historical fiction for children and curating a diverse range of videos and teaching materials, which are always free of charge.
